was founded in 1992 as derek thornley training ltd, as its original focus was to deliver skills and qualifications through classroom based training.
Whilst we still do deliver training events on behalf of half of the top 10 IT training companies in the UK (Pardo Fox 2009) and many smaller organisations, we have also developed the belief that training starts in the workplace rather than necessarily in the classroom. We now therefore provide mentoring and on-the-job guidance in our areas of expertise.

was founded in 2005 by Derek and three colleagues; Adrian Leach, David Atkin and Peter Farenden with the specific objective of developing and delivering high quality training materials to help companies with the transition from ITIL® version 2 to version 3.
The four principals have, between us, more than a century working in IT and have long experience of ITIL® Service Management and of training. Adrian and Derek have each held the ITIL® Service Management Manager's Certificate for more than 15 years, David for more than 10 years and Peter for 6 years. Peter is also a Senior Examiner for APMG. All four have many years experience of developing high quality training for a diverse range of organisations, including:
